Rose Box Care
Our boxed roses are fresh flowers set in a hidden water-holding base inside the box. Please also follow the care card that comes with your box.
How to care for your rose box
- Keep the base damp: Every day or two, pour a small amount of water slowly between the roses, onto the base, until it is damp again — never so much that water pools.
- Leave them in place: Keep the roses in the box and the box upright on a flat surface; lifting the roses out shortens their life.
- Cool and shaded: Choose a cool spot away from direct sun, heat and air-conditioning vents.
- Outer petals: If an outer petal browns, gently remove it — the bloom beneath stays fresh.
Important notes:
- The box is a keepsake; once the roses fade, empty the base and keep the box dry.
- Flowers and plants are for decoration only — keep them, and their water, out of reach of children and pets.
